One netizen with inside information claimed Xiaofei divorced three years ago because his ex-wife, a bar waitress, could no longer stand his domestic violence and playboy tendencies. Their daughter was one year old when the two separated.
Xiaofei, who is a typical fu-er-dai (refers to second generation rich) claimed during the divorce lawsuit that he had no assets and his business was in debt — in order to avoid paying out childcare and maintenance costs.
His mother Zhang Lan (张兰), who built the family’s restaurant business, is furious about the comments and has hired lawyers to investigate and sue anyone who says anything truthful about her son that she doesn’t like. The couple’s wedding date will be rescheduled. As we previously reported, Zhang Lan thought the wedding plans were going ahead too quickly and has now delayed the nuptials to March.
Netizens are also warning Big S to be careful with her money.
They say that since she made about NT$80 million (US$2.6 million) last year, she should be careful that Xiaofei doesn’t take half when they eventually get divorced.
