Lady Gaga Asia Tour

Lady Gaga to tour China, HK and Taiwan

Playboy Edison Chen (陈冠希) has teamed up with showbiz tycoon Peter Lam (林建岳) to organize Lady Gaga’s concerts in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China in 2012.

The pair reportedly offered a sky-high price of over HK$100 million (nearly US$13 million) to put the Paparazzi singer on the stage in Asia, after her performance at a Macau hotel last year caused a frenzy.

Edison posted a photo of them at a meeting with the singer’s manager on his Sina Weibo microblog, on Wednesday, saying “Gaga 2012 tour planning! Do u want to see her guys in China? Taiwan? HK? Wish me luck!”
Edison said Gaga’s manager, Troy Carter, is a long-time friend and Troy introduced him to Gaga.
“She is very nice and friendly. I admire her a lot. Really hope she can come to perform in Asia,” he said when interviewed on the phone from Los Angeles.

Ada Chooi is Pregnant

Guess what the stork is delivering?
Actor Max Zhang (张晋) happily announced on Tuesday that his actress wife Ada Choi (蔡少芬) is pregnant, after tying the knot in early 2008.

He said they had just been told the good news but did not disclose the due date and the baby’s sex.

As Ada will continue to shoot TV series until the Chinese New Year in February, Max has hired two assistants to take care of her.

He jokingly said the bad-tempered Ada is now even more prey to the emotional fluctuations of her hormones.

He added that though she suffers from morning sickness, she is still very happy.

Max has received tons of blessings from fans and celebrity friends.

The funniest microblog message, however, came from Ada herself, “Congratulations, Max. Yeah!”
Another jubilant mom-to-be Michelle Reis (李嘉欣), now five months pregnant, said her hubby Julian Hui (许晋亨) loves her figure even more now she has put on 5kg and described herself as “plump.”

Michelle declined to disclose when she will stop working, but a close friend of hers said the newborn will arrive in February.

She added Julian told her not to lose weight after delivery and quickly produce a second child.

Jackie Chan receiving the Outstanding Achievement Award

Jackie Chan takes foot out of mouth
Hong Kong action star Jackie Chan (成龙) appeared overwhelmed on receiving the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Asia Pacific Film Festival held in Taipei Saturday night.
“Too excited!” he panted when standing on the stage, clenching his fist.

“I thank those who don’t support me. Your criticisms pushed me forward to make progress.  With all those controversies in the past, I was good intentioned,” the 56-year-old said.

Despite being an international superstar, the straightforward Jackie has caused uproar on many occasions, making him a public target of condemnation.

In 2004, he criticized that Taiwan’s presidential election was “the biggest joke in the world.”
In 2009, he said at the Boao Forum that Chinese people had too much freedom and needed to be controlled.

In August, he expressed support on his Twitter account for the Filipino police, which poorly handled a hostage-taking crisis that involved HK citizens.

He also said Hong Kong people were not bitter about the incident, which drew flak from netizens.

Miriam Yeung Getting Married Soon

The Real Ting needs to wise up
Hong Kong singer-actress Miriam Yeung (杨千嬅) has spent nearly HK$50 million (US$6.4 million) preparing her “dowry”  ahead of her wedding banquet at the end of December.

She and hubby Real Ting (丁子高), former VRF band member and now a PR executive, registered their marriage in Las Vegas in August 2009.

Placing her husband’s needs as a priority, Miriam, one of the best-paid celebrities in the showbiz circle, recently forked out HK$45 million (US$5.8 million) on a luxurious apartment to become their love nest and two vehicles, one Mercedes-Benz and one BMW, for her mom-in-law and Real.

However, when asked whether his wife bought him real estate and cars, the 31-year-old Real quickly denied it, saying they are registered under his name.
The thinking is, Real thinks he’s a “real man” and not a toy boy. And it’s eating him up.
After news got out last year the two were married, Real was annoyed by media reports that Miriam makes more money than him and he claimed that he would not touch one cent of Miriam’s wealth.

Miriam earns over HK$10 million (US$1.3 million) a year, with assets estimated to surpass HK$100 million (US$13 million).

Real can only rely on a regular monthly salary of HK$25,000 (US$3,200).
Even so, Miriam has been very supportive of her hubby, saying Real’s biggest asset is his brain and work ability.

“He is a guy worth marrying. He is responsible and gives me a sense of security,” she said.

Big S & Xiao Fei Registered Their Marriage

Who put the shotgun to Xiaofei’s head?

Actress Barbie Hsu (徐熙媛) confirmed she and multi-millionaire Wang Xiaofei (汪小菲) registered their marriage, in Beijing on Tuesday, according to a statement issued on Thursday.
She added they will continue with their work but did not respond to rumors she is pregnant.
A shotgun marriage is when the two parties are forced to wed because they are having a baby. The buzz is Xiaofei was pushed by his mom.

The actress, aka Big S, joked her husband is as handsome as her brother-in-law, — Mike Hsu (許雅鈞), TV host Little S’ husband.

Neither of the families’ parents or relatives witnessed the important moment, but new mother-in-law and matriarch Zhang Lan (张兰) appeared happy when contacted by reporters.
She denied that Barbie is pregnant.

“I think that’s a big joke. It would be normal to get pregnant after they get married, but now she isn’t,” she said.

According to traditional Chinese custom, pregnancy should only be revealed after three months.
As Barbie is Taiwanese, the couple has to go through another round of paper work in Taiwan.
This will include Xiaofei being interviewed by Taiwan government officials, to ensure their marriage is legitimate, which will take around two months.

The couple’s flash engagement and lightening marriage have occupied newspapers headlines everyday.

'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part One'

Harry Potter and the gang Warner Bros. Pictures "

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part One," the final installment of the hugely popular franchise, is finally here. But unlike the final book, which is contained in one volume, the film version is divided into two parts. We wonder: Is it worth splitting the J.K. Rowling book into two movies? "Part One" alone clocks in at a whopping 2 hours and 26 minutes. Let's see what the critics have to say.

The story at this point is as dark as it gets: The hero Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) has been targeted by the evil Lord Voldemort. Harry and pals Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint) must pull together as Harry prepares to do battle with his archenemy. Battle of good over evil? Check.

The Associated Press calls the seventh movie in the series "gorgeously bleak." But there's a catch: Viewers have to sit through the set up for "Part 2": "There's lots of exposition…lots of characters and plots lines introduced and reintroduced from films past." Conclusion: "It repeatedly sags in the middle before picking up at the cliffhanger climax."

The Los Angeles Times critic, Kenneth Turan, finds the plot a tad plodding. He notes that the format of this film, directed by David Yates, is a more respectful translation of the book to the movie format, focusing on "connecting the dots rather than creating risky excitement." The reviewer gives the film a three out of five stars, and warns those new to the "Harry Potter" series not to start now, since "this latest episode makes little attempt to bring newcomers up to speed."

Todd McCarthy over at The Hollywood Reporter calls the two-parter "the long goodbye." McCarthy agrees with the L.A. Times that the movie is "devoted above all to reproducing the novel onscreen as closely as possible." A decision, he adds, "that drags it toward ponderousness at times."

Lisa Schwarzbaum at Entertainment Weekly gives the movie an A- and gushes, "'Part 1' is the most cinematically rewarding chapter yet." She mournfully reminds fans, "Haunting every frame of this assured and beautiful first half is the knowledge that soon, in 2011, the screen journey will be over."

“Part Two” arrives in theaters in July 2011. The motivation for splitting the movie in two may have been partially financial: It’s a multibillion-dollar franchise that Warner Brothers is having to kiss goodbye, after all. But fans too may feel just fine stretching out the ending as much as possible.

Eva Longoria has confirmed the new Us Weekly's exclusive report that she and husband Tony Parker have split.

"It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce," she said in a statement Wednesday afternoon. "We love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness."

Citing irreconcilable differences, she filed for divorce Wednesday morning in Los Angeles Superior Court.
The filing comes on the heels of the latest Us Weekly, which reports that Longoria Parker, 35, recently discovered that her husband, 28, has been exchanging personal texts with a mutual female friend for nearly a year -- hundreds in just one month.

Angelababy Feed s Huang Xiaoming Sausages

Sexy sailor Angelababy feeds lover sausages

New photos of heartthrob Huang Xiaoming (黄晓明) and Hong Kong model Angelababy (杨颍) acting intimately appear to show the couple have not broken up, as previously thought.

Angelababy dressed up as a sexy sailor to celebrate Xiaoming’s 33rd birthday, at a French restaurant in Shenzhen on Friday.

The lovebirds, hugged, kissed and playfully pinched each other’s faces.
Furthermore, Angelababy fed her lover sausages, according to the Oriental Sunday (东方新地).

Xiaoming, evidently, enjoyed being treated like an emperor, according to the weekly.
The couple then spent a romantic night at a high-end hotel.
This is Xiaoming’s first birthday after the two started seeing each other early this year.
After another celebration party with his fans on Saturday afternoon, Xiaoming did not answer reporters’ question as to whether he will marry Angelababy, but did admit she made him “very happy” the previous night.

Xiaoming’s mother, who was present at the two parties, did not hide her fondness for her son’s 21-year-old girlfriend.

Asked whether she has a good impression of Angelababy, the mother replied with a big smile, “Of course.”

Angelababy & Huang Xiaoming

It’s all over (bar the shouting) for Angelababy and Huang Xiaoming
Huang Xiaoming (黄晓明) and Hong Kong model Angelababy are shooting a film together in Guangdong — which could be uncomfortable because the pair is said to have ended their relationship.
Huang Xiaoming. Action!

Hong Kong media claim the couple split up two weeks ago and their sweet Sina Weibo tweets to each other are just a smokescreen.

The tempestuous due are filming A Sentimental Story (一场风花雪月的事) directed by Gao Qunshu (高群书), whose previous films include The Message and Wind Blast.
The movie is based on a 1995 TV series starring actress-director Xu Jinglei (徐静蕾) that was a big hit.

The plot follows a policewoman who investigates a stolen national treasure and gets mixed up with gangsters, while dealing with a complicated relationship.
Angelababy was chosen for the lead because of her ability to speak English and Korean, and play a beautiful and tender character, Gao said.

Kate Middelton: Royal Style Icon

The 28 year-old fiancée of Prince William has stayed true to her demure and practical style over the years.

Kate Middleton wore an electric blue dress, paired with a simple black blazer, to attend the wedding of Harry Meade to Rosemarie Bradford. She accessorised with a suntan, as she had returned from Kenya (where it turns out Prince William had proposed), and a wide-brimmed hat.

Their Engagement's Ring

Britains Prince William and his fiancee ...

Prince William finally popped the question to long-time girlfriend Kate Middleton, and he sealed the deal with his late mother's engagement ring.
See a slideshow of the 18-carat, oval sapphire surrounded by diamonds that William's father, Prince Charles, presented to Princess Diana for their engagement.

The ring is certainly a sentimental choice. Prince William explained his thinking during the press conference to announce the couple's engagement: "It's very special to me. As Kate's very special to me now, it was right to put the two together."
That's what he may believe, but the sight of Diana's rock unearthed a lot of memories, and not all happy ones, for the public, spurring a furious debate on Twitter.
One loyal royalist bemoaned the act: "Oh God No! Not That Ring! It is too much of a symbol of his mother's love and pain!" Others thought the gesture was "romantic" and "nostalgic," while critics knocked it as "tasteless" and even "creepy."
The couple plans to marry in 2011.

Middletons Family

In the 30 years that they have lived in the area, they have become familiar faces at village shows, local pubs and shops, earning the almost impenetrable loyalty of those who know them.

“Carole and Michael are a couple whose only crime has been to start their own business and do well for themselves and their children,” said one long-standing friend. “The fact that they raised a daughter who won the heart of Prince William should be to their credit, but I’m afraid that a lot of people are still obsessed by class in this country, and some of them will never forgive the Middletons for being middle-class.”

Michael Middleton, 61, the Leeds-born son of an airline pilot, was working as an air steward for British Airways when he met his future wife Carole Goldsmith, now 55, in the mid-1970s.

Miss Goldsmith, a builder’s daughter from Southall, Middlesex, was an air stewardess for the same airline.

In 1979, after Mr Middleton was promoted to the role of flight dispatcher for BA at Heathrow, where he kept track of the airline’s fleet on the ground, the couple bought a modest Victorian semi in Bradfield Southend, a village near Reading, and married in 1980.

It was from there that they started their Party Pieces children’s partyware business in 1987, which became a huge success and enabled the couple to move to a modern five-bedroomed house, set behind trees in the neighbouring village of Bucklebury, in 1995.

It also enabled them to send their three children, Kate, Pippa and James, to Marlborough College in Wiltshire.

In the past year Kate’s younger siblings have proved to be rather less publicity-shy than their parents.

Pippa, 27, works part-time in marketing and PR for Table Talk, an events catering company, and devotes the rest of her working week to The Party Times, an online magazine and offshoot of the family business. In October she rode roughshod over the family’s vow of silence by inviting The Sunday Times to the local pub to discuss the venture (with her mother’s approval) while stopping short of saying anything at all revealing.

James, 23, dropped out of his English degree course at Edinburgh University to start his own cake-making company, another spin-off from his parents’ firm. Last year he attracted criticism for publicising his venture by appearing in Hello! magazine, baking 21 cakes to celebrate the publication’s 21st birthday.

Royal wedding: Kate Middleton's family background

Some of the stories – such as Mrs Middleton’s supposed howler when she greeted the Queen with “pleased to meet you” rather than “how do you do?” – were manifestly untrue (the meeting never took place).
The suggestion that the “pushy” Mrs Middleton told her daughter to switch her choice of university to St Andrews when she discovered Prince William was going there is also described as “pure fiction” by those who know the family.
The fact that they have gained such widespread currency is because the Middletons have been caught in the media equivalent of no man’s land; with no official status, they have had no help from the St James’s Palace press office, but neither could they speak to the media, even to issue denials, without gaining an unwanted public profile.

Jay Chou Loves A-mei

Jay Chou really does love A-mei

Mandopop singer Jay Chou (周杰倫) really does love A-mei (阿妹) — his grandma, that is, who has the same name as the pop diva.
Jay took along his 87-year-old grandmother, Yeh Chan A-mei (葉詹阿妹), while attending an anti-tobacco press conference on Tuesday, the first time he has endorsed the campaign, for free.
Jay said the elder A-mei was nervous before attending the event and excited to see so many microphones in front of her.
“She might reveal my secrets without knowing it, so it’s better that she does not speak much during the joint interview,” he joked.
Having endorsed numerous products, Jay said he would like to do a “gas poisoning” public warning as he was nearly killed in a gas leak accident at good friend and actor Will Liu’s (劉畊宏) apartment, before he became a singer.
Jay and songbird A-mei, aka Chang Hui-mei (張惠妹), were said to be rather intimate on an airplane from Shenyang to Taipei last month.
The two sat next to each other and shared headphones. Their agents denied that there was any romance going on.
May Daily Says: And we believe them.

Lightning Marriage For Big S

Riding shotgun, from flash engagement to lightning marriage

MAY DAILY SAYS: It’s a shotgun marriage! That’s my bet. And it’s odds on.
Actress Barbie Hsu (徐熙媛) and Wang Xiaofei (汪小菲) have set another record for rushing into marriage — the couple registered their nuptials in Beijing on Tuesday afternoon, just 49 days after they first met.
It took the couple just 10 minutes to receive their wedding certificates from the Civil Affairs Bureau in Chaoyang district, according to Xiaofei’s close friend.
They plan to hold three wedding banquets, one in Hainan in March, then in Taipei and Beijing.
Xiaofei’s mother Zhan Lan (张兰) and the family and assistant of Barbie, aka Big S, neither confirmed nor denied the news.
The rush from “flash engagement” to “flash marriage” really can mean only one thing.
They want to get married before having a kid.
It looks like the deed is already done, however, which would explain the rush to ring the wedding bells.
It would also explain the curious goings on, the defensiveness on the part of the supposed loving couple … and both families’ agreement on the need for a quick fix … I mean marriage.
Good luck!

Prince William Is Finally engaged To Kate Middleton

LONDON – Prince William is finally engaged to his longtime girlfriend and will give Britain its biggest royal wedding since Prince Charles married Lady Diana Spencer almost 30 years ago.

Royal officials announced Tuesday that William will marry Kate Middleton next spring or summer in London, ending years of rumored splits, reconciliations and will-they, wont-they speculation.

William is second in line to the British throne after Charles, his father. Kate and William's first child would move ahead of his younger brother Prince Harry to become third in line to the throne.

Many in Britain welcomed the royal engagement as a rare piece of good news in a time of economic uncertainty and cutbacks — a time much like 1981, when millions watched Charles and Diana's fairy-tale wedding. That union of William's parents ended in divorce — but no one was dwelling on that Tuesday.
William's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and her husband Prince Philip "are absolutely delighted for them both," Buckingham Palace said. Prince Charles said he was "thrilled."

Prime Minister David Cameron wished the couple "great joy in their life together," and said when he announced the news during a Cabinet meeting it was greeted by cheers and "a great banging of the table."
Cameron — who said he had camped out on the street the night before Charles and Diana's wedding procession — predicted that this royal wedding would be a "great moment for national celebration" that would unite Britain.

AFP
No venue has been announced yet. For pomp, the ceremony is likely to fall between the extraordinary spectacle of Charles and Diana's wedding in St. Paul's Cathedral and Charles' subdued second marriage to Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall at Windsor Guildhall in 2005.

William and Harry have spent a lifetime in the spotlight, with their drunken nights out and female friends the subject of constant tabloid gossip. William, who turned 28 in June, once told an interviewer he wouldn't marry "until I'm at least 28 or maybe 30." But since joining the military, both have kept a lower profile.
Middleton met William at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. They shared a house along with other students in the seaside university town, where William initially studied art history before switching to geography.

In 2002, William paid 200 pounds to sit in the front row at a charity fashion show where Middleton was modeling in a daring outfit. They are thought to have started dating the following year.

A wealthy commoner rather than an aristocrat, Middleton is the daughter of self-made millionaires. Her father worked for an airline and her mother was a flight attendant before they started a mail-order business specializing in children's parties, run from their house in southern England.

She attended Marlborough College, an elite private school, where she played tennis and field hockey, before studying art history at St. Andrews. After graduating in 2005, Middleton worked as a buyer for the fashion chain Jigsaw. She is now employed by her family's party-planning business.

The couple's relationship became public with a joint photo on a Swiss skiing holiday in 2004. Middleton then became a media darling — especially after both graduated, which ended a British media agreement to leave William alone while he was at university.

Middleton was there when William was commissioned as a British Army officer after graduating from Sandhurst military college in 2006. She was photographed attending public events, going to work, even getting a parking ticket — a level of attention that evoked the romance of William's parents.

Yet only weeks later in 2007, media reported — and Clarence House did not deny — that the couple had broken up. Newspapers pored over the apparent end of the relationship in long stories sourced to anonymous "friends."

Earlier this month, Middleton's parents were invited to join members of the royal family for a shooting holiday at Balmoral, another milestone on Kate's road to acceptance by the royal family's inner circle.
Clarence House said after the wedding, the couple will live in north Wales, where William is based with the RAF.

Actress Kitty Zhang, aka Zhang Yuqi (张雨绮) has confirmed to media that she was not given a 6 million yuan (US$897,000) breakup fee to leave rich kid Wang Xiaofei (汪小菲) — who is now nestling in the arms of Barbie Hsu (徐熙媛, aka Big S).

“I didn’t reply at the time because the rumor is ridiculous,” she said.
She added the relationship between Xiaofei and Barbie should be respected.

“I will cherish the old relationship and look forward to the next. But it’s no hurry. I’m enjoying my life right now,” she said.

Big S will break up soon!

“Asia’s King of Constellations” says Barbie-Xiaofei breakup written in stars
A famous fortuneteller predicted on Monday that Barbie Hsu (徐熙媛) and her rich fiancé Wang Xiaofei (汪小菲) will break up on November 3, 2013.

Their three-year romance will go through a long breakup process, and October and November of that year will be the key phase, said Chen Chien-chi (陳謙之), acclaimed as “Asia’s King of Constellations.”
He said the couple was ill fated and the relationship predestined to fail no matter whether the couple gets married next year, or not.

The two will make efforts to mend their cooling relationship, but new issues will surface.
The professional astrologist from Taiwan has precisely foretold the end of love matches between celebrity couples, such as Jay Chou (周杰倫) and Jolin Tsai (蔡依林), Barbie (aka Big S) and Lan Cheng-long (藍正龍), as well as Ken Chu (朱孝天) and Kelly Lin (林熙蕾).

Jay Chou With Porn Actress

Jay Chou’s new honey trap with porn actress

Soft-porn actress Lan Yan (蓝燕) says singer Jay Chou (周杰倫) called four times a day to invite her out for dinner.

During an interview with Hong Kong-based Oriental Daily on Tuesday, Yan said, “I think he (Jay) wants to woo me, but I’m not sure … One time he came to Beijing, he called me twice in the morning and twice in the evening asking me out for dinner.”

Lin Yan shows Jay what he's missing

So, how come there were no romantic developments between the two of them? she was asked.
“Because I’m in China and he’s in Taiwan. Too far away.”
She also posted a photo of herself and Jay on her Facebook page.

Jay famously had “honey trouble” in May with minor-league model Honey Chen (陳以庭), who claimed the megastar pestered her sexually. Jay said in response that he is now immune to anyone and everything.
He said those who wanted to get famous by riding on his back were deluded and should try making it on their own.

Selina Wedding's Photo

Selina’s wedding photos, plans in disarray

It was previously reported that Selina Jen (任家萱) of girl group SHE had wedding photos taken with fiance Richard Chang (張承中) earlier this month, before she got burned in a horrific accident while filming a TV series on Oct 22.

But Apple Daily today revealed these photos were just a trial version for the real wedding shots with Selina wearing her tailor-made Vera Wang wedding gown.
The sumptuous dress is said to be worth NT$500,000 (US$16,350) and will not be ready until next year.
Selina and Richard originally planned to get married in April.

Pregnant Michelle Reis

Pregnant Michelle Reis says no to hairy crabs, yes to painted nails

Mom-to-be Michelle Reis (李嘉欣) doesn’t care for so-called prenatal taboos.
The five-month pregnant former beauty queen still eats junk food, such as instant noodles and soda, dyes her hair, paints her nails and wears high heels.

She also said on her microblog that she plans to have naked big-belly photos to record the special moment, which reportedly angered her conservative parents-in-law.

Even so, desperate to have a grandson, the old folks have spent over HK$1 million (US$129,000) buying top supplements and hiring a foreign nutritionist to make sure the baby is healthy and the mom does not put on too much weight.

Nude Scene of Pace Wu Never Happened

Pace Wu’s nude scenes never happened

It has been a week since the person known as “assistant to the lighting technician” on Sina Weibo microblog threatened to publish actress Pace Wu’s (吳佩慈) naked photos if he did not get paid in seven days.

There are no updates on the site, and the film, Lost In Panic Room (密室之不可告人), in which “the assistant” claims Pace has “sex scenes” with actor Yuan Chengjie (袁成杰) will premiere tomorrow (Oct 29) in China.

Therefore, there has been talk that this is yet another marketing strategy, from the film company.
Pace earlier told Taiwan’s Apple Daily that she did not have to expose her body for the scenes — and certainly was not “nude.”
The film was previewed in Guangzhou on Tuesday. In the bed scenes, Pace and Chengjie simply act intimately on the bed and Chengjie was the only one to show any flesh — his back.

Pace Wu Nude Photos Exposure

Pace Wu faces nude photos exposure

A film crew assistant has threatened to publish actress Pace Wu’s (吳佩慈) naked photos if he does not get paid in one week.

The person said on his Sina Weibo microblog that he worked with the crew of the film Lost In Panic Room (密室之不可告人) for more than a month during the summer and he was still owed 10,000 yuan (US$1,500), nearly half of the salary he earned.

To get his money back, he said he was forced to upload some photo
s of Pace’s sex scenes with actor Yuan Chengjie (袁成杰) — scenes that are not about to appear on screen.

On Tuesday, he posted five photos of the two kissing and hugging on the bed, which show Pace about to take off Chengjie’s top.

He threatened that was just “foreplay” and he has more photos of the two in full nude scenes.
The deadline is one week, he said.
Mr Wu, from the film’s production team, denied the accusation, saying they have paid all fees to the third party team.

Huangfu Sheng Hua = Edison Chen

…

Boys Rumours

The three year old has been snapped on a number of occasions, but there have been divergent opinions about who he looks like most — dad or Edison Chen (陈冠希).

Commentators and forums have been buzzing with gossip that Lucas looks a lot like the baby Chen.
“His eyes are like Edison’s; his nose is definitely Cecilia’s,” opined entertainment portal nownews.com. “Lucas is a handsome boy and he’s gonna grow up to have the best of Edison and Cecilia.”

It’s a cruel but fair assumption, since Cheung and Chen were seeing each other just over four years ago.
Cheung and a host of other stars were exposed as Chen’s lovers when the contents of his hard drive were made public two years ago.

New Star: Lucas

Lucas: A star is born

Lucas, the three-year-old son of Cecilia Cheung (张柏芝) and Nicholas Tse (谢霆锋), is following in his celeb parents’ footsteps. Halfway through a press conference to promote the sequel to CJ7 during the 13th Shanghai International Film Festival on Sunday, Lucas ran onto the stage.

He presented his debut work, for Steven Chow’s (周星馳) new film CJ7: The Cartoon (长江7号爱地球), in which he sings the theme song with his mom. He appeared to love being filmed and did not cry when he tripped – even rejecting Chow’s helping hand when he wanted to help him to his seat.
Big laughs all round.

The sweet boy then defended his mom, telling journalists in English, “Don’t say my mother’s fat!”
When photographers took shots of him he seemed a bit perturbed, however, and said in English, “You are naughty! Take pictures of me!” He then tried to cover his eyes from the flash of the cameras.

周星馳 is Single

Stephen Chow, 周星馳, has been dumped by his girlfriend of 10 years because he refused to marry her.
The 48-year-old Hong Kong actor and director’s mother was also said to be partly responsible for the breakup as she wasn’t keen on Yu Wenfeng , 于文凤.

The situation is complicated by the fact that Chow and Wenfeng cooperated on property investments.
Heiress to a fortune Wenfeng also helped Stephen manage his film company and property interests.
Stephen shouldn’t have a problem finding a new love interest, however, as he’s loaded, influential and has a knack for finding young actresses.

BIG S May Quit

Actress Big S (大S) may retire from showbiz after marrying Wang Xiaofei (汪小菲), heir to the restaurant chain Southbeauty Group (俏江南), her fiancée hinted in his microblog on Friday.

“We just want a happy life so that I can continue with my work and career and she can quietly return to family life,” said Xiaofei in response to news buzzing about the pair’s whirlwind romance.

The pair made their first public appearance together Friday morning at Shanghai airport. Walking hand-in-hand, Big S, aka Barbie Hsu (徐熙媛), flashed an engagement ring on her left hand.

Xiaofei has reportedly also prepared a wedding ring, worth 10 million yuan (US$1.5 million), to be flown in from abroad.

Her father said the couple is scheduled to have a wedding banquet on February 18 next year.
As the two got engaged the fourth time they met, many wonder whether it is because Big S is pregnant.

TV host Little S (小S), her younger sister, flatly denied the claim.

While their friends and families are in a tizzy, Xiaofei’s restaurant employees at SUBU in Beijing wondered, “Why would Big S like our boss?” One male waiter said the two do not suit each other as Xiaofei “is a playboy. Rich people are all like that.”

Big S Is Not The Thrid Party

BEIJING: Taiwan actress Barbie Hsu's fiance Wang Xiao Fei has denied that Hsu was the third party who stole him from ex-girlfriend actress Kitty Zhang, reported Chinese media.

Responding to comments on his micro blogging account by some users that claimed Hsu had caused his split from Zhang, Wang said it was pure speculation.

"I thank everyone for their concern, but these guesses are a little outrageous. The two of us met at Ady An's [birthday bash in October], got along very well and wanted to get married," he wrote on Sunday.

"Whatever rumours about being the third party or creating buzz for the restaurant is ridiculous. The two of us had a normal romance and decided to get married. It has nothing to do with any other factors," said Wang in another post that same day.

However, these two entries on his micro blogging account were found to have been deleted on Monday morning.

The 34-year-old actress dismissed these claims as completely untrue and compared dating Wang with dating Superman.

Wang's mother, wealthy businesswoman Zhang Lan, was convinced her future daughter in law was no gold digger and described Hsu as "quiet" and "virtuous" in an interview on Sunday, revealing that Hsu even bought her an expensive Hermes bag as a gift.
If Zhang's words are any indication of their family's wealth and how much her future mother-in-law likes her, Hsu has indeed lucked out and will soon marry Superman.

Cecilia Cheung Third Pregnant With A Daughter

Another addition on the way to Cecilia and Nicholas' family

This is the story according to Hong Kong media, which is reporting the actress is pregnant with a third baby, after giving birth to Lucas and Quintus — with actor husband Nicholas Tse (谢霆锋).

Cecilia Cheung’s (张柏芝) dream of having a daughter has finally come true.

Her schedule is full, with at least four films in the pipeline, so if the news is correct she will have to scale down. This is the reason she had to turn down director Derek Yee’s (尔冬升) call to act in his latest movie.

When contacted by reporters, her celebrity mom-in-law Deborah Lee (狄波拉) could not conceal her excitement.

Wang Xiao Fei Is Innocent!

The netizen who disclosed on Sunday that Big S’ (大S) fiancé Wang Xiaofei (汪小菲) divorced three years ago and has a daughter admitted that he made a mistake and apologized to Xiaofei on Tuesday.

In a post on Tianya’s forum, the netizen said he did work at a court three years ago and honestly believed the divorce lawsuit he dealt with involved Xiaofei. Tman was another Wang Xiaofei – and the claim against Big S’ boyfriend was bogus. In the man’s original post, he claimed that the bogus Xiaofei’s ex-wife was a bar waitress, had been beaten and the bogus Xiaofei had playboy tendencies, meaning he was off with lots of other women.

According to the post, the bogus Xiaofei said he had no money so as to avoid paying out childcare and maintenance costs.

Big S’ future mother-in-law Zhang Lan (张兰) refuted the groundless rumors on Monday and said she has hired lawyers to sue anyone who says anything untruthful about her son.

In a desperate move to shirk legal liabilities, the netizen, who goes by the name Yu Xi Lianye Shang (鱼戏莲叶上), claimed that he borrowed the cyber ID from a friend and now he lives abroad.

Liu Wei Heading To Europe

The armless pianist Liu Wei (刘伟) will tour Europe in January, along with other leading contestants from the latest edition of China’s Got Talent (中国达人秀).

Director of Dragon TV, Jin Lei (金磊), said there will be performances in Austria, France and Italy. Liu Wei is not expected to perform any concerts in the meantime, under a deal that has been made with Dragon TV.

Liu Wei, 23, who lost both his arms aged 10 when he was electrocuted during a game of hide-and-seek, defeated 7-year-old standup comedian Zhang Fengxi at the final of China's Got Talent  at the Shanghai Stadium, the Shanghai Daily reported. The pianist, from Beijing, who taught himself to play the piano at age 18, impressed the audience with his performance of “You’re Beautiful,” singing and using his feet to play the piano.

He was also formerly a handicapped swimming champion.

Reason of Kitty Zhang (张雨琦) Break Up

Actress Kitty Zhang’s (张雨琦) temper is said to be the main reason why she broke up with Wang Xiaofei (汪小菲).
Kitty Zhang’s temper blamed for breakup

Xiaofei’s mother, the wealthy businesswoman, Zhang Lan (张兰), is said to have been behind the breakup, as she refused to help the actress deal with a lawsuit regarding her contract. Even so, she gave Kitty 6 million yuan (US$897,000) as a breakup fee, according to Kitty’s former assistant. Zhang Lan stepped in after Kitty tried to slap Xiaofei on his face when the two quarreled at home.  Zhang Lan is also, reportedly, displeased with Kitty’s “unclear” relations with Hong Kong actor-director Stephen Chow (周星驰).

Recently, Kitty is said to have been living with actress Liu Tao’s (刘涛) rich husband Wang Ke (王珂), in Beijing, for the past two months.

The angry Liu Tao is asking for a divorce and guardianship of their two kids.

No Surprise BIG S's Boyfriend Is A Playboy

Since news that the pair had a “flash” engagement after just 20 days of dating, negative news about the heir to a fortune has been breaking out.

One netizen with inside information claimed Xiaofei divorced three years ago because his ex-wife, a bar waitress, could no longer stand his domestic violence and playboy tendencies. Their daughter was one year old when the two separated.

Xiaofei, who is a typical fu-er-dai (refers to second generation rich) claimed during the divorce lawsuit that he had no assets and his business was in debt — in order to avoid paying out childcare and maintenance costs.

His mother Zhang Lan (张兰), who built the family’s restaurant business, is furious about the comments and has hired lawyers to investigate and sue anyone who says anything truthful about her son that she doesn’t like. The couple’s wedding date will be rescheduled. As we previously reported, Zhang Lan thought the wedding plans were going ahead too quickly and has now delayed the nuptials to March.

Netizens are also warning Big S to be careful with her money.
They say that since she made about NT$80 million (US$2.6 million) last year, she should be careful that Xiaofei doesn’t take half when they eventually get divorced.

Faye Wong Is Back

After disappearing from showbiz for five years, diva Faye Wong (王菲) held her first comeback concert in Beijing on Friday night to a packed stadium of 18,000 people.

Appearing in six outfits, Faye sang 23 songs, including her classic Hong Dou (Red Bean, 紅豆) and I’m Willing To (我願意) on the 3D stage decorated with glaciers and icicles at the Wukesong Culture and Sports Center.

She maintained her trademark style of “just singing, no talking.” The only words she said were xie xie (thank you), three times in total, during the 105-minute show.
She is scheduled to hold 10 concerts in Beijing and Shanghai.

In January next year, she will sing at Taipei Arena.

China’s number one songbird Faye Wong (王菲) went off key when she sang her trademark song Hong Dou (Red Bean, 紅豆) at her first comeback concert in Beijing on Friday night. She then flashed an embarrassing smile.

The video clip has been wildly circulated on the Internet. Her concert producer Chiu Li-kuang (邱瓈宽) on Sunday tried to spin the incident and claimed Faye did not go off key and “her vocal condition was excellent throughout the concert.”

Big S With Future "Mum-In-Law" Problems

Big S (大S) and her billionaire fiancée Wang Xiaofei (汪小菲) plan to get married on February 18 but they’ve got mother-in-law problems.

Apparently, Xiaofei’s mom Zhang Lan (张兰), chairperson of the restaurant chain Southbeauty Group (俏江南), is not happy with the planned wedding.

“It won’t happen that quick!” she said, adding the wedding, if it happened, should be well planned and there is no need to rush it. She said both families’ parents were absent from their engagement party on October 22 and therefore it does not count.

She met Big S for the first time on Friday and though the consent issue doesn’t seem to be solved, she did say the actress is “down-to-earth.”

The extensive news coverage of the pair over the past week has successfully put the restaurant chain on the map. Some commentators reckon it’s all a conspiracy so that Southbeauty Group, which is scheduled to open its first restaurant in Taipei’s Xinyi district next month, will get some advance coverage.

Miss World 2010

This is the fifth time that Sanya has hosted the Miss World final (130 countries) and it has become a spiritual home of sorts for the organization. But actually it appeared to be perfection in the Natural beauties in the lobby and grounds of the Crowne Plaza hotel, Sanya, Hainan province for Garden of Eden today at the 60th Miss World contest.

They were joined by past winners of the contest, ranging from France’s 1953 Miss World Denise Perrier Lanfranchi, to the 2008 winner, Russia’s Ksenia Sukhinova – who will join the judges.

At the front of house, the world’s media was desperate for access to the hottest totty in the known universe.
All that was on offer for them to interview on the morning of the contest, however, were three of the performers for the evening show. These included UK X-factor’s Shayne Ward, and Puerto Rican opera singer Carlos Aponte. The third performer tonight, saxophonist Dave Koz said he was in a constant state of arrival after touching down in Sanya.

Behind the scenes, Miss World 2007, China’s Zhang Zilin (张梓琳), was found walking around the grounds, arm-in-arm with Agbani Darego, Miss Nigeria’s world champion in 2001.

Were they really good friends?
“Sure, we keep in touch by e-mail and see each other when we can,” Zilin replied.
“Miss Worlds are a select club,” Agbani added. “It really is like a big family and it’s great to be asked back to judge.”
The pair emphasized that external appearance isn’t everything in the “Beauty with a Purpose” contest.
“It’s the inner beauty that counts,” Zilin said, revealing that the judges “actually get to know the girls beforehand.”

The night of the contest is important but actually some of the decisions have already been made.
The Miss World road show has been traveling China for the past month, visiting Beijing, Shanghai and Ordos in Inner Mongolia.

Selina Goes 5-hour Operation

Selina Jen (任家萱) of girl group SHE underwent a debridement operation for five hours in Taipei on Monday that removed dead, damaged, or infected tissue to improve the healing potential of the remaining healthy tissue.

She was conscious and in a stable condition, according to the statement released by her record label HIM Inc (華研國際音樂).
Fifty percent of her body—legs, arms, back and waist—were burned, and her face had blisters.
It requires two to three weeks for observation (not to get infection is the priority) before the medical team can assess the rehabilitation situation.
Her father said Selina is in extreme pain and pain-relief has been administered.
