Actress Kitty Zhang’s (张雨琦) temper is said to be the main reason why she broke up with Wang Xiaofei (汪小菲).
Xiaofei’s mother, the wealthy businesswoman, Zhang Lan (张兰), is said to have been behind the breakup, as she refused to help the actress deal with a lawsuit regarding her contract. Even so, she gave Kitty 6 million yuan (US$897,000) as a breakup fee, according to Kitty’s former assistant. Zhang Lan stepped in after Kitty tried to slap Xiaofei on his face when the two quarreled at home. Zhang Lan is also, reportedly, displeased with Kitty’s “unclear” relations with Hong Kong actor-director Stephen Chow (周星驰).
Recently, Kitty is said to have been living with actress Liu Tao’s (刘涛) rich husband Wang Ke (王珂), in Beijing, for the past two months.
The angry Liu Tao is asking for a divorce and guardianship of their two kids.
