Lucas, the three-year-old son of Cecilia Cheung (张柏芝) and Nicholas Tse (谢霆锋), is following in his celeb parents’ footsteps. Halfway through a press conference to promote the sequel to CJ7 during the 13th Shanghai International Film Festival on Sunday, Lucas ran onto the stage.
He presented his debut work, for Steven Chow’s (周星馳) new film CJ7: The Cartoon (长江7号爱地球), in which he sings the theme song with his mom. He appeared to love being filmed and did not cry when he tripped – even rejecting Chow’s helping hand when he wanted to help him to his seat.
Big laughs all round.
The sweet boy then defended his mom, telling journalists in English, “Don’t say my mother’s fat!”
When photographers took shots of him he seemed a bit perturbed, however, and said in English, “You are naughty! Take pictures of me!” He then tried to cover his eyes from the flash of the cameras.
